sometimes everything feels too good to be true
so you try to pinch yourself hard to make sure you're not dreaming...
i've pinched myself real hard and it hurt...
so now i know what real feels like...

reality can be more beautiful than fantasy, i'd say...
life with all its complexities can actually be simplified by love...
and yes...i have love in my life...i need not ask for more =)

I feel the need to believe in humankind once more. i find no words to describe the tragedy that was, i have no strength to think about who's to blame. all i'm holding on to is this glimmer of hope in my baby's good morning smile. i vow to raise you well, my dear elaya, and i hope this vow will ignite a wildfire of faith... among other parents, so that we may contribute to bringing forth good people in this world.

Elaya - Standing Ovation Please! =)

Elaya has been trying to stand up inside her crib almost as soon as she discovered that she can already sit by herself. Joel predicted that in about a month she'll be able to do so. Apparently, her daddy underestimated her. hehe. ;p
